Evaluation ET scheme and 30% ruling

Welcome to the questionnaire about extraterritorial costs facilities, including the 30% ruling and ET scheme.

About the evaluation
Employees who come from abroad to work in the Netherlands often receive compensation for costs incurred while living outside their country of origin, known as ‘extraterritorial costs’. Examples of these costs are travel costs, additional administrative costs, language training, and relatively higher expenses for rent, food and utilities in the Netherlands. As commissioned by the Dutch Ministry of Finance, SEO Amsterdam Economics is evaluating the facilities for these extraterritorial costs, such as the 30% ruling and the ET regulation. The results of this survey contribute to the decision-making in Dutch politics.

About the survey
The survey is aimed at persons from abroad who are currently living in the Netherlands. If you know more people who fit this description, you may forward the survey to them. It takes about 10 to 15 minutes to complete the survey. You may complete the questionnaire spread out over time if needed. Your information will be treated confidentially.

The research team of SEO Amsterdam Economics would like to thank you in advance for your participation.
